What mess and getting messier...
by yellowrose of Texas on 09 December 2009 - 01:12
Falco vom Staufener Schlossberg was killed in a car accident around 5pm yesterday as Jonathan Richard's father (R. Chris Richard) was transporting him somewhere. Falco was innocent in all of this mess and Jonathan alone is responsible for these tragedies.
Jonathans Father bailed him out and then was involved in this horrible accident . The newspaper article is not all true in some facts about the dogs and where they are going.YR

Jim, the jerk was also charged with obstructing justice. As I understand it, this means he interfered with the police carrying out their job when they arrived. Is this correct?
Prager, there is nothing unreasonable about asking you to back up your statements. Also, why is it OK for you to conclude that your expert witness case was similar to the Richard case, but it's not OK for others to express their views about the Richard case? You weren't there either.
4pack, it is usual and customary for people to express opinions about court cases before a final ruling. Why should this case be any different? For obvious reasons, it's a very high-interest case that will generate a lot of discussion. Rest assured that I and others will continue to express views that you dislike instead of taking a "chill pill" and meekly shutting up to make you happy. We don't take orders from you. Eventually you may learn to deal with that.
Snaiper, I'm so relieved to learn from you that the battering of women is just an amusing joke and it's the men we need to worry about.
Sadly, YR's info, as is often the case, is correct. Falco, the "attack dog" in this incident, is dead. From the Daily Herald:
"The dog, a highly trained guard animal named Falco, met an even worse fate Monday when he was killed in a four-car pileup that also claimed the life of a Wauconda man.
Falco, McHenry County authorities said Tuesday, was riding in a car driven by its owner's father, Robert C. Richard, 64, of Towaco, N.J., when it was struck by another vehicle near Prairie Grove. The dog was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Richard [Jonathan's father] was hospitalized.”

YR, is this Falco?

Poor Falco! This is just heartbreaking. You are right, YR, the poor dog was innocent. Will the other dogs be OK? Are they being taken care of?

I never said it was a joke. I think I stated very clearly that the guy should get what he deserves for what he had done. Over the years I learned that women are violent creatures just as violent as any guy out there ;). So I am sorry I can't be as one sited as you ;). I will try better next time ;)

And oh yes...poor Falco, but no worries about an innocent man (Johnathan's father). I feel utterly sorry for Johnathan's family, parents/grandparents being drug into his messes. I am never dissapointed here with all the compasion towards the dogs, yet we forget our fellow man. Reality people, reality.

And, yes, it's a shame that Richard's father ended up in the hospital, but he's not dead. Falco is. Hence the focus on Falco.
I just hope the poor dog lost consciousness immediately and didn't suffer. For him to escape death at the hands of animal control, only to be destroyed in a horrible auto accident on the way home from the dog pound, is tragic.

In response to "susanandthek9s" question, YES, the pedigree link she posted is the same Falco (Falco vom Staufener Schlossberg) (may he rest in peace).
Much care is being taken to get the dogs taken from JR possession to get them identified . papers together, and get them all to safe places.. They do not want any more tragedies such as happened to Falco..His safekeeping was utmost but a lot of work and hours of tense precision is involved in this Case. You just cannot put High quality dogs in the hands of just any ole "Tom, DIck and Harry."
