As Shelley says walk her a lot keep her off the food for a while but plenty of water, do not give her anything to help her on top of what your Vet gives you they know best
Good Luck and we all hope she will turn out fine and healthy again in a short while

I still don't know if my old dame is going to make it. She's a lovely old Yoschy/Arec granddaughter. I've been crying for two days and feel pretty sorry for myself and my dog.

Sitasmom
Glad to hear that your girl is doing better. Hope she continues to get better.

VomMarischal

I hope Nina is going to be ok.  I will pray for her and you.

Thanks, Jyl. She lived thru the night, but still no cheerful prognosis from the surgeon.

Oh, boy, so much going on in this thread.  So happy for Sita and her family - great news.

Deepest sympathy and hugs to buckeye - I'm so sorry, what a terrible thing.  And VomMarischal, sending all good thoughts your way.

What's that poem??  "Brothers and sisters, I bid you beware, of giving your heart to a dog to tear..."
