I saw that exact same clip yesterday and stared in disbelief.
The double handling made it look like a complete farce, I genuinely had to go back and make sure I had clicked on 'Seiger Show' and not some club level conformation event. Dogs running up each other's tails, it reminded me of schooling ring chaos for a horse show.
If I want to see a GSD showing a good, well formed, working 'gait' I'd rather seem him/her working a herd of sheep than running around the ring like a toy breed.

Ugh. Agreed. All those people screaming and squeaking, and look at the dogs - they're not responding!! Look at their heads and ears, do you see any of the dogs in that clip "alerting" to the squeaks and screams?

When is your next litter of Pet Rocks due?
Be careful you are starting to look like a liar as it is starting to appear you know more than your little act has ever let on.
When you breed that next litter let us know.
Bye bye little man

Yes, I don't even know why I was running around the ring in my class, I have never seen such a cluster in my life, my parents were laughing so hard when they saw all those people with squeaky toys or worse yet water dishes. If your dog cant respond to your voice get out of the ring, it is especially sad to see that you have to motivate your dog by tricking it into thinking your going to give it a necessity of life.

The working criteria has been destroyed to allow the weaker dogs(ie show lines) to be surveyed and KK the trail criteria has been so dumbed down that there is no real pressure allowed to be put on the dog to get a real evaluation. It,s all because it is now a sport.
It,s up to the breeders and trainers to make sure that the dog is properly bred and trained for the work. I,ve yet to see a good German shepherd stop a man by GATTING him into submission!.
When Max speaks of the dog being ready for war just how many flyin trots do you think it takes to stop a enemy combatant?
