The overwhelming majority of the people in those pictures are not using the American Sign Language sign for "I love you". The sign for "I love you" does not fold the thumb over the fingers, but rather extends it away from the palm. Why? Because the sign combines the starting letters of all three words in the phrase "I love you". I, which is a fist with only the pinkie extended. L, which is a fist with the index and thumb extended. And finally, Y, which is a fist with the thumb and pinkie extended. The sign was not developed by Helen Keller, and it doesn't have a damned thing to do with anything other than simplifying a common phrase into one sign, rather than three. Mudwick, I was in denial about the  world being controlled  simply by a small group of greedy, and evil people. And than I came my 30's. After meeting the bastards I have no illusions. The sign for bullshit involves both hands, not just one. You're right, one hand does form the sign for ILY. It represents the bull's horns. The other hand mimics a sphincter opening and closing, to complete the sign for bullshit. This whole thing is absurd. Way to insult the entire deaf community in one fell swoop.
