I do have a family thank you very much and they mean the world to me. Last time I checked you get a dog to make him a part of your family not just a lawn ornament, and stop hating on working dogs, I work with them often and they are awesome! The only fun thing I saw at the SS was that working dog hit the sleeve, now that was some real fire. He also didn't look like a mixed breed or a junk yard dog, just for clarification

.....oh, yeah, HIT THAT SLEEVE !   That is all some of your can think about -- what a Thrill !  (NOT).   Still, many of the WL look like mixed breeds to me ... that is MY perception.    Maybe give your family as much attention as you do to your dog ... they may really appreciate it.

Also, remember, Max's vision for his Breed is not YOUR / Schutzhund folks' vision.    You guys/gals are the ones who perverted his vision.    Just sayin.........

Miles....On the contrary when my family went out to Mittelwest ,Titan and Albert were both on leash with Julie. Titan was brought out and introduced to me, my spouse ,and children.  Albert was introduced to a family with three small children. Also, the dam of my male was 'off leash' and interacting with my family.....she was the sweetest female GSD I had ever met..........Just keepin things straight....

Ruger -- Miles is "fabricating" -- he does that a lot.

The dogs always come first and my family understands that because they know the dogs don't have the option of taken care of themselves without our help and dedication to them. My dogs work and or train everyday and have purpose. A real GSD needs that! My kids help clean kennels and feed, as well as training on a daily basis and because of that my dogs show apreciation and respect  and thats what trainability is about,

Sorry Maggie i think i will keep the fish tank

Pretty rich that someone who admitted that when they got their dog, they had no idea who Max was, is now telling us about his vision!

This thread is like a bad case of the diarrhea, BIG DEAL!!! fu fu dogs there just fufu dogs more then likley the lot of them could not garner a decent grip if there life depended on it.

Max would  throw up if he were here today whatching a SS show no matter whos group of letters were in front of it. It,s money money money... thats the answer to every question asked and answered here.

Stop all the bitching and go train a dog for it,s original bred purpose WORKING not trotting around a ring all slicked up color died hock dragging dumb expresioned low drive no heart non athletic lacking SS fodder.
