Sorry Tigermouse, the last one was at Heads of the Valley but I don't know when the next one is. You could email Sheila Rankin, (BC website) she'll be able to tell you.

Tigermouse, I clicked on the website link on your last post... Inuhaus, is this yours? Didn't that used to be the affix for Tim Lawrence?

missbeeb - INUHAUS is Tim & Alison Lawrence and means Dog house!!
I think you miss read as Tigermouse is INCUBUS

Beepy, I'm glad they're still around. I'm sure Tim's Dad used to judge obedience... well... I think I'm sure!! I know Tim used to... does he still?
Tim handled one of my bitches a couple of times at Breed shows... many moons ago. They used to see one of "my" offspring, Dolly, at a pub they used to go to after training, again... not yesterday. I'd love to know if Dolly's alive and well; she's a daughter of my bitch that died from HCM, her litter sister died of the same complaint.

I havent seen Tim for a while either. Its a case of snap on the handling front, as my oldie was handled by Tim as a puppy. I wonder if the Pub as the one we used to go to near Bisley or whether it was the other site?
Its a shame Tim doesnt have the same interest in the show side as I found him extremely informative and very passionate about the breed. I can understand his love of Shutzhund, but due to other commitments the I cannot make the time on a Sunday.
As for the obedience I dont know - why dont you go to the British Sieger and catch up with him?

I doubt I'll be able to make he Sieger but I may see him at South Valey??? I have no idea where the Pub was, only that it was visited after training... better than tea!!! I don't suppose Tim's interested in obedience now, (all b&w) I hope they're both doing well. A lovely, genuine couple. Tim was a really good handler, I'm sorry he's not into the Breed side any more.

We used to go to Bisley and then one on the outskirts of Bordon - and at that time of night the Pub was the logical choice. T & A used to drive about 1hr + so I guess a break before driving back was nice, plus it gave people a chance to talk.

Do you remember a Shepherd at the Pub... Dolly?
We don't even have a Club in our county now. Our nearest is Devon... over 2 hours away!
by beepy on 14 September 2008 - 19:09
I cant think of one, but I lived close to the clubs so it was rare that we stopped. My nearest club is now over 1.5hrs drive so I dont go as I love having my dogs but the drive to show is not strong enough to have to get child minders in for me to waste diesel like that! IF there was a local one I'd be there, but a big part of it is the opportunity to be with other GSD owners and I found my oldie loved club, but then he has always liked playing to the crowd.
Im hoping in a few years when my kids are less demanding to join South Valley as its only about 1/2hr away, but invariably the kids need me for taxi service at the moment.
