I see Yello up close on two, Zambo and Honey. I wonder what you would get if you bred those two dogs together?

Ghandi Arlett, Hillo Marne de valle, Hill Farbenspiel, and Tony Wienerau, in addition to Cello... ALL excellent work producing dogs! He also has Amigo in the 4th generation! Griff's pedigree is packed with work producing dogs! That's NOT to belittle his excellent training, but it sure adds to the potential level the dog can achieve with expert training!

I would go back one more generation and attribute Mark's work production to his sire Fedor Arminius. Fedor produced work no matter who he was bred to. Mark had a few "flakes", most likely due to their mother's side, although most of his production was very good. Jello is one example as this dog was "chased" several times in bite work and seemed to produce this. Then we have to look closer and really get indepth to see if some of these "flakes" were because of poor training, or if it really was something coming down through the line. I DO LOVE Mark's conformation in addition and I think Griff looks very similar!

Excellent information, I think the idea was to check the pedigrees of dogs with agreed on work ability as per the criteria Dog1 suggested and find the common ancestors especially the close up to recognize the producers behind this work ability.
If you agree on adding the last 9 dogs (actually one of them was previously included), then please revise all pedigrees of all dogs in the last two pages and look for common trends in between and then tell me what to add/remove and I shall gladly re-print all pedigrees with edited trends each highlighted in a seperate color marking.
Where there is Mark I will add his daddy Fedor.
Also please advise if you like to add more to those dogs included in this little pedigree search and I will add them, what about outstanding protection work in German Sieger Show 2011?
