No sue it is very healthy to discern what not to eat and what to eat.  Shall we let your husband have sex with whom ever he pleases! Quite healty eh. And actually sexual conduct between unmarried people is still illegal! No this was not about sexual conduct but the lack of moral character! But we are told about reprobates like you sue!

rayray ACTUALLY said (before he goes back and changes it):

" And actually sexual conduct between unmarried people is still illegal!"

rayray what planet are you on?  Sex between consenting people providing they have reached the age of consent  is 100% legal in the USA, AND the legal age of consent ranges between 16 and 18 depending on the state..

Sue I am governed by Gods law and not mans so you see sexual intercourse between unmarried people is illegal. Forbidden ! Sue ignorance can be fixed by a book but in your case stupidity requires the use of a shotgun and a shovel! Sue man is goverened by Gods law and not mans ! Illicit sexual conduct sows horrendous benifits! But what would a spawn from hell know about that!

After reading your statements, it appears to me to be more about who Values Life --
Tess - do you have children?

Of course I value life.  Of course people on both the left and the right value life.  Do I have children?  Yes, I do.  More than one.  And I have never, ever, ever considered abortion.  But that's me. Unlike the right, I make my decisions according to my beliefs, including religious beliefs, but I do NOT poke my nose into the private business of any one else and insist that  I decide what you can and cannot do.  Like Palin saying she'd oppose an abortion if her own daughter was raped.  Yeah, lot of value on the daughter's health & life right there.   It's not about value for the right, it's about control.  They want the control.  It would be very interesting to know how many anti-choice people have mistresses and daughters who have had abortions.  Very interesting.  If it's anything like the "family values" hypocrites the tally is probably pretty high.

Also, we are still waiting on your answer as to What Rights Has Obama Given Back to the American People

LOL - you guys are great.  But in your opinion Bush didn't take away any rights.  He's the Super Patriot.  So first the right insists Bush didn't take away any freedoms, then they criticize Obama for not giving them back!  Sorry, doesn't work that way.

Besides the long pokey noses of the right, and the enormous hypocrisy of don't-do-as-I-do-but-do-as-I-say, what finally turned me away from the Republican party and the conservative movement is the pure D hatefulness of those on that side.  This thread is a perfect example.  "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  Yet the HATRED expressed over and over again on this thread, the rallies for McCain and Palin last year where you could hear people screaming about Obama, "Lynch him! Lynch him!", the pastor recently on the news for praying that Obama dies, the school children on the bus after the election chanting "Assassinate Obama!  Assassinate Obama!" and on and on.  THAT is what finally made me, and by the results of the election, obviously a lot of good, true conservatives, vote against their party for the first time in their life.  How could I, how could anyone, possibly vote for that viewpoint?

I listen to Limbaugh, and sometimes to Michael Savage.  The HATRED is the most un-American thing I've ever seen in my long life.

Now, the Alabama-VA Tech game is on and I've been looking forward to this all day.  So it is party time at my house and I am signing off for tonight.  GO HOKIES!

A little factoid for fun!

"I’ve heard that left-handed people are in their right mind, so that would confuse the issue a little bit,” Jeff said as he enjoyed peanuts and a soft drink with the boys around the grease pit.

"I just wonder if conservatives are associated with right-handers or the fact they are ‘right.’”

You can blame the French for any confusion, Jeff. Whether left-handed or right-handed, the French legislators of 1791 were identified politically by where they sat in the Legislative Assembly chamber. Those who advocated continuation of a monarchy sat on the right. Those who advocated a republic without a monarch sat on the left.

In France, the "right” came to represent those who sympathized with royal, aristocratic and clerical interests while the "left” came to represent those who favored a republic and civil liberties.

The two extremes of right and left during the 20th century were the fascists of Italy and Germany and the communists of the Soviet Union and China. In the United States, the left is identified with liberals, who advocate social programs aimed toward labor and people with lower incomes, and the right is identified with business and commerce and advocates of less government activism.
