I did see Rumor at the Herding competition later that night, and thought he did exude a bit of charisma! There was something there, enjoyable to see, besides his white bib! LOL.

Had my heart skip a beat last night when the Judge announced the Best of Show winner.... German .... Shorthair Pointer!

Rumor is a very nice looking bitch, and Kent Boyles an extremely experienced handler, so I am not surprised Rumor took BOB.
The last two days have been pretty stressful for me, and I've been far too busy with vet appointments and car issues to watch - anyone know how Christi Halliday did? Her kennel (Imp Cen) bred Star's mom. She was showing a bitch something-something(Kridler v. Signature's?) Blah Blah Blah, call name Ke$ha.
CONGRATULATIONS to Xeph! That's a great accomplishment for a bred (and shown) by owner dog!

We got put in a corner when the specials came in so the judge could examine all of them. There was no need for us to continuously stack up the class dogs when he had all the champions to examine yet, so we were just put there to relax :)
In regards to the foot shifting, one dog wasn't very sound, but overall, the floor doesn't have as much texture as you'd think, and their feet kept slipping.
Thank you for all of the support :) It really means a lot. We came away with Winners Dog, Winners Bitch, and Best of Winners (given to Moto). While we were the only class animals, it didn't guarantee us anything. My dogs could have acted up or the judge could have felt they lacked merit.
I was concerned because Mikasa was in standing heat, and she had been tucking her butt when other people went over her, but she was rock solid for her exam. Moto lost his damn mind and behaved like an idiot. I honestly thought BOW should have gone to my bitch, but overall I cannot complain.
The young woman that took Mikasa back in for me is a junior handler, who just recently finished her own bitch, and finished a client's bitch by going BOB/G1 over specials for a 5 point major. She's very talented and has a wonderful hand on the dogs. I'm glad she was able to help me.

I brazenly just told a puppy owner (she has one of the younger ones) that I'm gonna put a BIS on her dog. And damned if I'm not gonna try. She's stunning. Lovely little brain. The owner unfortunately won't let me work her on stock, but I don't think she'll have a problem if I try to work her through rally and obedience titles.

And BeeTree, I had that same moment!
