It's funny the Internet has been around for a couple of decades now. Name any decent stud I can find the video. I have bought several dogs based on vids.
I have personally bought several dogs based on vids and have rarely had any surprises. I guess it depends what you look for when you watch.
For me when I search a dog and find a lot about his show career and nothing about his work that's a big red flag.
If you worked the dog and like him then by all means breed him. Most people don't. The dog is pretty there is some fantastic story by some local guy that's been doing it for 30 years (never achieved much) and there's your stud. Lol.
Seems like it's always the usual suspects promoting these dogs.
Another favourite are the studs advertised with the proud caption "not a sport dog". Then there's a photo or video of the dog biting a suit..nd like him

Can't find any video? Maybe there is none, and now we can move on, so drop it now please.

Apparently, Haz, you're **not** looking at the dog I'm talking about, "lol". You're talking about TROAS, the original dog mentioned, where I am talking about TRUCE, a good dog who I thought would be a good alternative to the OP and who I have been speaking of. I have no idea what Troas is like and would never involve myself with the people he found himself mixed up with, poor dog. Kurt Hill (Eisenhaus) asked me to post these pics of TRUCE, not TROAS. Different dogs, different colors, different pedigrees.

Thanks for clearing that up Jenni, now we can really move on

Oh but c'mon, Mr. Darcy; the "show me the video" game is soooo much fun!

So much fun that it's actually driven away a few from wanting to post here anymore. Who even videos their dogs and copies it to the net unless they have a product to sell? As I've been told by admin, a poster doesn't need to own the breed they are expounding about and for me that's too bad.

It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to upload video. Most half decent trainers have vid of their dogs and training. That goes double for if your selling or studding a dog. So to answer your question many people..:).
As I said earlier I understand why many on here hate it when proof is asked for.and people get upset. Its easier to tell stories.

Why do you think anyone needs to prove anything at all to you, Haz? And what makes you so sure that everyone even takes videos of their dogs doing whatever and wants them to be posted all over the net? Hobby owners train and title their dogs because they enjoy it, not because they use the results to flog puppy sales and stud services or because they are trying to impress you or anyone else. Give it a freaking rest and stop trying to bully posters into posting videos of dogs so you can belittle their efforts and their dogs.
