Mountain lion, I have no idea who you are, but you're a good guy. You never say a peep unless someone is in need, then you're right there and very generous.

Okay, I am asking for prayers and good thoughts for my friend, K., who is in hospital right now scheduled for emergency surgery for a ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit!
I just don't get how one couple can have SOOO much bad luck!
Her husband has also lost his job. He MAY have a new one, but his wife's illness has prevented him from working the last few days.
She also has a bitch that's due to whelp, probably next week. I've been looking after her tonight, and she is just skin and bone!! Not my friend's fault: she's getting fed 3x a day, and Orijen, no less! but is refusing to eat, probably because she knows K. is sick... Could also be she's got such a big belly that there's not a lot of room for food in there.
She's been upstairs with me all evening, and is getting along just great with my pack (and the cat). But every time she hears a noise outside, she pricks her ears up, hoping it's K. coming home!

Surgery is done, and went well. Phew! The cyst was 10 cm x 7 cm.
Then the nurse tried to kill her by giving her codeine for pain, which she's allergic to! It's clearly marked on her hospital bracelet as an allergy! Not only that, she ARGUED with K. about it!!
Gwen, the pregnant female is hanging in there, though her tits are practially dragging on the ground, and she groans every time she has to lie down!

Geez...well, glad they got the cyst gone before it burst, and that she was able to stop the nurse from killing her, or at least giving her an anaphylactic reaction. Don't quite know who in the universe they've pissed off, but it really does seem like your friends just can't catch a break.
