By the way you can purchase a dog with a SCH1 from $500-$priceless depends on the dog. I have a friend in Germany that has a male that has no titles, but you can't touch that dog for less than $20,000 U.S. either.

unless you personally know the person you are buying from I'd NEVER buy a dog, sight unseen. what i say is a good dog, may be absolute sh*t too you. ive seen several dogs that have had titles and would run the other way when they saw a dumbell. IMO if someone buys dog from a random person and has not personally worked the dog several times, you deserve exactlty what you get.

Hi Moose, First, if you are thinking about competing with this dog why would you want to spend your money on a dog with low scores? Have you seen this dog work and feel you could bring out *more*(?) Like, do you feel it is a sleeper-just waiting to happen (?) Secondly, why didn't you just say the dog needed to repeat the SchH 1 because it had not scored the required *80* to move forward? I don't know what you are looking at for price but I turned down $3000 for my BH female... Then they upped the anti to 3500 after her SchH 1. NOW why wouldn't I go for it? I feel she can compete ! LOOK=the other guy has 4 dogs that he is working so wants to sell this one... where on the ladder does the present owner place this dog? AT THE BOTTOM... *has not been worked for over a year*? RUN RUN RUN As always.. take what you like and just leave the rest.. LOL Jack

jax spader i think moose88 did say the scores were low 70s .see above postings . Also i read this the other night as I have been looking for the different rules on the different schutzhund organizations offered here in USA .i copied pasted it below ; Note: Effective July 1, 2000, a passing score of 70 points (Satisfactory or "B" is permitted in part C (Protection). A title may be earned with 70 points in each of the 3 categories. However,in order for a dog to advance from a SchH 1 to a SchH 2 or a SchH 2 to a SchH 3, the lower title must be repeated and a minimum score of 80 points (Good or "G" in Part C) must be earned cant remember if all three or four schutzhund organizations have the same rule or not as my brains fried from treading all the info on each places webpage ! Perhaps moose 88 doesnt have pockets loaded with cash to buy a top contender , as many on this board seem to have . I know i wouldnt or couldnt afford a high dollar dog say over 8 g's and thats kinda pushing it .Maybe moosse just wants to trial some and not go after the trophys /fame ? how bout it moosse88? I do think all of you are giving this person good advice and jax spader your last statement was on the money for anyone -thats a good one .
