I'm making a list of all the information you ladies and gentlemen are giving me, you've been so helpful at such a stressful time for me I'm crying! I tell you, I'm making up for the mood swings she's not having! People think I'm crazy when they try to pet her and I'm like "no, I think she's pregnant and I don't want you to get her sick" She even gives me a side glance every now and again that clearly says "lady, your losing it...I'm only pregnant" lol Welcome to my world of crazy lol
God help me when my daughter gets old enough to have a baby!!!

Um, you obiously have NO IDEA how much poop and pee a litter of pups can produce!
The fun REALLY starts when they are weaned, and Mom will no longer do cleanup duty. Up until that time, she will lick them to stimulate urinatiing and defecating, and lick up the resulting mess.
The amniotic fluid from the birth will PERMANENTLY stain anything it comes in contact with. I still have a couple of greenish stained towels from my friend's first whelping, back in 2010. (The groomer uses them for drying dogs.)
You might want to take out stock in the company that produces "Nature's Miracle' or one of the other popular pet cleanup solutions....
(j/k, but things ARE going to be messy...)

Her personality will not change after being spayed, none of the many female dogs i have owned change at all, neither did the males. And none of mine ever had any bad experienced getting spayed either. I use to workfor a vet office, a neuter taks about 10 minutes to preform unless the dog has a retained testicle. Spay are about 20 minutes and are more invasive but i've never seen any females have problems post surgery. And i've watched hundreds of spay/neuter surgeries.
On the other hand i've seen a lo of problem from birthing. Prolapsed uterus, stuck puppies, puppy rejection, and much worse. But i won't go into that because your already wound up.
Pups are messy and noisey little thing and they get messier as they get bigger. So papers or plastic for the first 3 to 4 weeks. Then tons and tons of news papers. I use to clean out the neighborhood mailboxes just before dawn.
Amniotic fluids can be any where from green to black and still be normal. And they sure do stain everything.
There is a fun side to having puppies but then their is the smelly messy side of pups too. And there is always one screamer in the bunch who keeps everybody up.

I didn't even realize how wide she had gotten until setting that photo from 2013. If you have a guess at her breed, I'm open!

Think of the puppies as 4 legged kids that grow and walk very fast. Anything within stretch reach is fair game to be eaten, shredded, peed/pooped on, played with, and poked. Remember to cover light sockets; one of my pups thought they were the neatest thing.
Leaving the puppies with mom until 8 weeks does not mean to not let her have a break. For my litter, by about 6 weeks mom and puppies played together then separated. Mom will let you know when she needs a break and when she is done being " mom."
Another thing to give the puppies the best chance, start crate training and separation at about 7 weeks or earlier if puppy's have the tenacity. Nothing major.
Use crate as sleep time. No need to have a separate crate for each, one big on for all of them is fine. The idea is to present the crate as their bed and safe haven.
Start taking them out separately for some one on one time. This gets them used to playing with humans and not relying on their siblings so much.

Enough to worry about now. Let's not create overload by jumping so far ahead...one step at a time.
A spoonful of ice-cream is not the same as ca paste. Anyway, best to get advice from her vet.

A spoonful of ice-cream is not the same as ca paste, nor does ice-cream replace all important water. If a bitch won't drink water, there is a problem. Anyway, best to get advice from her vet.
