ROFL.......that's what I've been missing, Funkie!! Thanks for the best laugh I'd had in ages. Do you remember your intructions on how to build a dog fence using celery? I'd love to read that one again.

I was wating for the celery fix. Thanks Funkman you didn't let us down. And this would work as well as vicks or some other "fixes" too.

Hi All, I know some of you believe I should just move the male...well, this wouldn't be a problem usually, except that he is 100lbs (98 to be exact) and usually the crates I have don't hold him. He is an expiranced stud dog, and when I put him in another room, INSIDE of a crate, he somehow breaks out, and leaves HUGE holes in my dry wall. Truth be told, its not like my house is really all that great anyway, but it worries me, I don't want him accidentally injesting some of it, not to mention, making his nails wittle down to the quick. I have tried sending females away before, even in one of the most secure kennels I know of, they have not only double, but triple fencing for a bitch in heat...I got the female back, and low and behold, 60 or so days later, had a lovely little mixed breed litter on my hands. I only trust myself with my dogs from now on, and have NEVER had an unwanted litter, I am very diligent! I just wish there were a way for him to relax a little. My bitches are usually pretty calm, but he raises such hell usually about two weeks before they come into heat he starts the sniffing, and by the time they're at their peak, he's chomping at the bit. All I was looking for was something to possibly help him, I didn't need people making it seem like a stupid problem with an easy answer...Thanks all who had wonderful suggestions, I'll be sure to email you personally telling you how it worked! Thanks
