Shtal

by Shtal on 08 October 2012 - 19:10

This is my last post, I am going to work. But let me tell you something: If you find a fossil in the dirt, the amount of carbon could be measured, the rate of decay can be determent; I don’t argue either of those. How much was in when it lived – I don’t know, has it always decay at the same rate – I don’t know, has it being contaminated, sitting in the ground for all this years, there is no way to know all this things. Because you would have to know when it lived – so that you could calculated when it lived. You would have to already know when it lived to fear how much carbon14 it was breathing at that time. “Doesn’t work”

Yes, actually it does work and the carbon involved can, indeed, be calculated in MOST cases.  There are variables in certain environments that make a difference and those results are not accurate, as KNOWN (tested and verifiable) by the scientific community.

Right or wrong wouldn't it be nice if it was at least entertaining?
For your entertainment and some brief levity, a half time video,

Amen Red Sable!!!!!!!!!

I am back from work and so I could post final conclusion to this thread...
And it is written in Bible; and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, for this cause God shall send them strong delusion.
Anybody believe that they evolved millions of years ago before they finally became a human, I would say he/she is strongly deluded.

Goodnight everybody.
Shtal.

Your right red sable, we didn't just happen.

Poor Shital,
you are the one who is deluded and that has been the way of it since you began this one man crusade of yours here on the database.

No matter how many times you repeat yourself, no matter how shiny your armor, the truth is you simply don't know.

Moons you are my hero...........

Went to the library to drop some books in the outside box. Right by there is a foyer you go in before the main library. They have a bookcart there with free books. I ran in to check them out. Well I guess another Christian dropped out of the faith because there were jillioms of religious book, hymnals, guideposts, and on and on. For some reason I thought of Shtal and how disappointed he would be.................

Shtal, you're using one of the oldest (and might I add, most successful) tricks in the book.  If someone else belives it, that supports your "evidence", without evidence.  Sorry, that doesn't work either.  You can believe all you want, just as RS can, but that still doesn't make it the truth.  For that, you need evidence.

And this is the part that you just can't get through your clouded mind...  Nobody cares!  If you believe it and it makes you happy, that's all that should matter to you or anyone else.   It's when you INSIST that not only is it the truth, but we should pass LAWS supporting your truth, when you have not one single, credible shred of anything even approaching evidence!  We're just supposed to take your word for it because, well after all, we all see how honest you are (cough, cough, choke, choke, spit)..  If you believe every word of the Bible and you want to live your life in accordance with it, you are FREE to do that!  That's what freedom of religion is all about!  But, when you want to FORCE other people to do the same, you'll lose every single time, as you SHOULD, that's what secularism is all about!  Religion is personal because our minds are personal and they belong to each who possesses one, each one is different, that's what you call your soul!  You do exactly what your book tells you NOT to do and then you act like that's a virtue!  Are you serious?  You want to enslave bodies if you cannot claim their souls!  And that's what your very anti-God is supposed to be doing, not the benevolent one!  Remember him, Satan, stealer of souls?  Are you keeping count?

Shtal, I'd like you to watch this video, in its entirety.  And please, pay closest attention around the 11:00 mark on.  I watch lots of videos and some make me uncomfortable, but this one doesn't and it also shouldn't make you uncomfortable.  It's an exchange of divergent views and if you listen closely, you'll see where the divide originates.  Think about that for more than a minute, please.

And by asking you to watch this and honestly listen to it, I'm not asking you to stop believing what you believe, you should follow your heart, just as you allow others to follow theirs.  All I'm asking is that you listen to the results of the degrees in which belief can do harm to other people.

I know I've been tough on you, but I truly do wish you well
