If I was Debby's friend then I would be pretty hacked off that she had put this on a International Website for all to see instead of talking it over with me.. Some friend!! I think that you need to get a grip girl, go get some therapy!!!!!!!

by Whisperer on 21 August 2006 - 12:08

Ah! But does a pup by any other name smell as sweet? lol Sssshh........Who knows !!!???

by Doryc11 on 21 August 2006 - 13:08

Debbie, I fully understand why you are upset. I too learned the hard way about seperating business from from friendship. I will no longer do any kind of business, friends or otherwise, unless everything is clear and in writing and signed by all parties. This prevents a lot of headache and heartache later and hopefully friends can understand.

Just so you all know... the breeder "asked" "dared" me to put it on this board. Marge... LOL....Get a grip!! First thing is... You need to learn to read!!!!!! I have acknowledged over and over and over and over that this is HIS LITTER, HIS KENNEL NAME SHOULD BE ON ALL OF THE PUPS, and HE IS THE BREEDER. Can you get that into your head??? Second... I helped with the breeding, I would have been there to help with the whelping if I hadn't been working. I acknowledge all of his hard work in raising the pups too. I own the parents. Let me try to get this through to you.... lol.... I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE HIS CREDIT AND HIS KENNEL NAME ON ALL OF THE PUPS! HE IS THE BREEDER AND OWNER OF THE LITTER AND HAS ALL RIGHTS TO NAME HIS PUPPIES WHATEVER HE CHOOSES. Third... There is no courtesy, friendship, priviledge, or special allowance in my naming my pups what I wanted to name them. HE HAD NO SAY IN THAT. EVEN HE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT FACT. IN ADDITION..I gave him his credit when I named my pups, as they have BOTH KENNEL NAMES ON THEM!!!!!!! FOURTH... No person in their right mind would even think to ask anyone other than the breeder/litter owner to back up the guarantee on the pups. The contract is with the litter owner. No one else besides the litter owner recieved any money from the puppy sales. Even HE the breeder/owner of these puppies thinks you are way off base on most of the comments you have made!!!!!!!!! The only light that goes on there is from a very "dim bulb"! lol Fifth... Marge says.."Seems to me Debbie wants all of the cake as well as all the cream, if she thinks this litter so good let her put these two dogs together herself next time. Or would she want her friend to pay her a leasing fee for that too?" ..... You are really "off" Marge. EVEN THE BREEDER HIMSELF LAUGHS AT SUCH A REDICULOUS STATEMENT. (w.a.B.)By the way I DO like cake and cream!!!!! lol lol lol Sixth... Marge keeps going over and over and over about "the best 2 pups". For everone's information... this litter was so good that all the pups are pretty much even and... it just so happens that HE GOT HIS PICKS as they were not the same as mine!!! Marge also keeps going on, and I quote "I am struggling to work out what exactly her friend got out of leasing this bitch and having this litter?" All I can say is you must be some kind of a NUT! lol He got 5 puppies including his 2 picks of male and female and 3 to sell for well over $1,000 each! and ALL OF THE CREDIT ON THE 5 PUPS! cont...

cont...... Seventh... It has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH FRIENDSHIP! There is NO WAY to take out friendship when doing business with friends. It is humanly impossible, especially when you are being let down. The only solution to that is , what some have said... NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH FRIENDS. Period. On second thought maybe Marge and Mike COULD do that as they have portrayed themselves as cold and heartless as a rock. The other thing that I have learned through this is that there will be a contract for everything! lol Mike... If you let someone borrow your gun and ammo you are still partly responsible for anything that happens with that gun because it's yours. PERIOD. However, that direct scenario does not normally have an application with dogs or breeding, other than the scenario of a borrowed dog killing someone while it was in the keeping of someone else. "ACE" - we HAVE talked and are still talking. lol Thanks Pia you are a great friend and the trust and respect is returned, and to LMH and the others for understanding my plight. Debby

So Debby, apparently you came here to only hear what you wanted to hear and anything else is absurd? Sorry for even taking the time to give you any input, seeing as you had your mind made up that you wanted your way and not other before you even came here. BTW, someone cannot take "ALL THE CREDIT" if they must share kennel names. Two kennel names implies that it was a shared litter and combined effort.

Once again you are wrong Mike. lol I have learned and listened. But only to information that applied to the direct facts. If you would read and get all of your information correct before opening your mouth, then maybe more people would listen to you. In one of my posts I CLEARLY explain that all of the opinions helped me put things into a better prospective. Your input was not addressing the facts as stated through out the thread multiple times. Yes, that is one thing you are right about, sharing kennel names and credit! Only 2 of 7 puppies share the kennel names. The ones I named, and graciously gave credit to both of us! If letting him use my dogs is not being part of it, I don't know what is! Let me spell it out again for you.... He owns the litter, he is the breeder of the litter, he has all the rights to name the puppies what he wants to name them, excluding my kennel included. The whole point, which you want to deviate from,,, is, that all is leagally correct and accounted for ... the debate is over "Friendship, Respect and Courtesy" Hence the title of the thread. Debby

I forgot to mention to Marge... It was his idea and he came to me with the proposal.
