Well it is a good thing that you are able to teach Erri(my mistake on the Jipo Me thought you said you had one) to be nice to other animals.I bet those ducks taught him a good lesson.I was only able to work with the cats I had with my pup.It has been a long time since I have had a cat so I don't think I would trust him anymore.I was wanting to go out and do falconry with my friend with my dog tracking rabbits but his Hawk doesn't likedogs and I don't want my dog to eat his hawk and get talons in his eyes in the process!!! So maybe my next pup can be trained the right way from the start cause I would like to have a hawk and my dog work together as  a team when hunting.I know that Hans would help me get the right dog as he knows them best!!!

Red Sable,

I posted pictures of Erri few days ago and as I promised I will post pictures of Chetra z jirkova dvora very soon, the problem is it does not stop raining in these days. Chetra is pronounced Jetra as in Spanish.

Lavk9,

True I said I have a puppy from Jinopo but not Jipo me it is (od Roubenky) but from Jiri (Jinopo). You are correct only kennel name is od Roubenky eventhough I do not know why!!! The mother name is Paloma od Roubenky, maybe that is why. By the way I like hunting too but here hunting using hawk is banned, no hunting using birds or animals or camoflage (not sure of the spelling).

Ok that is probably why I was thinking Jipo Me.duh lol  Isaw the pedigree of Chetra...very nice!!! You are very lucky!!

Really no hunting with a hawk there? Or other animals? INteresting.I know there are some other countries that you can't do falconry. There are even some states that have banned it.You can't own a hawk but you can't hunt there. So you would have to drive to another state(hope one is close enough) to go hunting. I can see both sides of the pros and cons of falconry. My problem is I can't kill an animal to feed the hawk like my friends do.I rather go to the store and buy chicken hearts or livers or something. It is onw thing if it kills in in the wild as that is nature but I can't do it.Plus to me....that is what falconry is...the bird hunts.I shouldn't have to do it for the bird.

What makes the difference between what Hans is offering from other breeders ?
How do they choose the puppies which shall carry the flag?
Where are they at the moment in their breeding program?
What is it that they still want to make better in their dogs?
What makes Jinopo and Alpinek9 different from other Czech breeders?
On what topics or points does Hans disagree with Jiri
?

What  we are doing is  preserving tradition of  the true spirit of a GSD as it was bred by z Pohranicni straze breeding program. This is (as far as I know ) the only breeding program which was conducted en masse by people who actually worked the dogs. (Forme DDR had similar program which was closely intertwine with z Ps program. )  And when I say worked, then  I am not talking about sport. There were thousands of dogs bred and screened and tested. Then selected studs, and their progeny was tested on many levels and at different ages. And than these studs were allowed into the breeding program if they and their progeny passed such screenings. There were careful statistics kept on every stud who was bred to certain females. These statistics are still used by us and furthered.
There were different parameters in temperament and structure in comparrison to what is  used today. There was higher promotion of natural general protectiveness, required were different  reactions to a gunfire, intelligence and interest in surroundings and fast mental maturing and longevity. A s fa r as the structure goes there were different parts of the body messured and promoted then they are today.
Most of these trades are not promoted by SchH, AKC, FCI,.... nobody,... an mase as far as I know.

Hans, thanks a lot for the explanation. It is a very complicated and complex process but you made it and still making it correct, I can see that in your new puppies.

Regards
Ibrahim

Ibrahim:
No problem. Just keep these points in your mind. You can do it on small scalle too. Do your home work. Be critical of your own dogs. See waht they produce and if they do not fit into wht the working dog should be then do not breed them.
That is hard thing to do. I'll PM you more.
