Is there any consideration that this irresponsible person may simply have forgotten to even open the slide window (NOT that I think that would have been sufficient at 78 degrees)? Poor dogs. I hope they waiting at the Rainbow Bridge to rip a new one for whoever murdered them.
If the newspaper reports are even marginally accurate, her story is changing. Bottom-line: I won't be surprised, if she is prosecuted and I will definitely applaud it.

Whoever is responsible for the dogs' death in such a horrible way - it's all very sad for all involved but especially for the dogs.

One query to those who work their dogs: Given that you have the dogs out for training on hot days. But, how often do you run errands with the dog(s) in the vehicle, when temps are above 70 or 75?

I know of people who got persecuted for animal cruelty for lesser offenses than Jennifer Rainey obviously seems to be getting away with.
What are the rules with USA if killing 2 dogs? She claims to be a member.
