If you're dealing with yeast issues, check out this site:

http://www.greatdanelady.com/articles/feed_program_for_systemic_yeast_problems.htm

My boy is currently having some yeast-related issues and I have him on the yeast kit for large dogs, as well as the Microtek shampoo and spray the site outlines and while it's slow going, he is improving.  The Oxydrops/water solution you spray on effected areas has made a huge difference in his skin.  We had given him antibiotics which would resolve the issue in the short-term, but symptoms would always reappear.  With this system (which he's been on about 45 days) his ears have stayed clear and I know his system is kicking it out and slowly but surely resolving itself.  We had tried all kinds of immune strengtheners, pills, powders, etc, but nothing but these new products have showed any results.  My first GSD who died six years ago at age 10 suffered from yeast issues most of his life and I only wish I had known about this kit for him.

The Great Dane Lady has lots of great information.

One thing that I do is put a teaspoon - tablespoon in the drinking water every day.

Pharaoh likes it.

Funny thing is my dogs don't even get hotspots, they don't chew themselves silly or lick their feet or anything crazy, they just get seasonal itch and dandruf flakes really bad, some goo in the ears but nothing that a good cleaning once a week in the warm months doesn't fix. I hardly touch them in the winter.
