I agree there is nothing wrong with this female! I broke up fight between my daughters female and mine a few weeks back, worst I have been involved in and I also was bite. It was not the dogs fault, mine! I would never suggest to put either female down, maybe my daughters boyfriend for leaving me behind a closed door and the 2 females to roam the rest of the house! There are some dogs that need a 1 dog home, she maybe able to get along with another male. Some dogs are food/toy motivated and will fight for them. They can get along  and someone walk by outisde and get aggitated and because of the hiper state, fight each other, all kinds of things could set them off. So it is not just knowing the trigger issues, she just must be kept away from other females. From wqhat you have stated if she was on a wlak with her owner and leashed she would be albe to ignore  the situation and keep walking, she would be able to attend a training class, she would be able to do agility (there are no lose dogs  on the field and she would be "zoned" into what she was doing. She needs an experianced handler, the reason is so the idiot would not place her in the backyard, then get a wild hair and take her to a dog park or allow neighbors dog to come for play date. When talking "experinced" does not mean a handler that caln deal with a handler hard dog, it sounds to me like some who understands the breed and DOG LAW..63 (my puppy just added his 63 cents) gotta go walk him.

Very simple solution with this dog and that is to seperate her from the other female perhaps the other dogs (at least while feeding).  None of my dogs live togther anymore. The nature of the beast is to fight even if it is just play fight with each other. If this can not be done in your home maybe you should re-home her as a single dog or match her with a less dominant dog & experienced family.

If this dog was attacking people unprovoked then I would consider the $.22 solution. But I think the dog lacks the proper keeping and perhaps more exercise/training.

Peace,

Place this dog in a home with no other pets or with a working home who understands this behavior.  Until then, immediately  separate this dog from the other dogs in your house;  and never leave this dog out with other females especially when your not home.  If you continue to leave these dogs together you will wind up with a dead dog.  A very experienced, strong handler would more than likely be able to handle this dog around other dogs.  If dog aggression is in this dogs nature you will not change it but you can modify it's behavior.  I have had very dog aggressive dogs in my house and it's no picnic.  The dogs were fine together in the house and outside when I was present but they were never left alone together.  My current Police K9 is very dog aggressive, but I don't tolerate it and it is completely unacceptable for especially when working.  I have had SchH dogs who were dog aggressive but never on the training field.  FInd a home for this dog with a family that will work it in some sport or activity.  The second fight should never have happened.  You need to take some precautions right away to prevent the other dogs from getting hurt again.

I agree with most of the others...nothing wrong with the bitch.  The girl is maturing to the point now she want's to move up in the pack.  You may not have seen the other bitch provoke her, but there was an undercurrent.  The fact that the old gal does not need stitches makes the younger dog sound like a relatively good girl...I've had to get stitches on a couple of mine after they got in a bitch-fight...and like Vickie says...the bitches are the worst!  If you got hurt in the fight, you got in the way--- your fault.

I have several alpha bitches...they are the best for working/training and for being a responsive loving buddy...and the worst for living together with other dogs.  Veronica
