Brittany: I hope this isn't a prelude of things to come: Please do Not breed your dogs just because they have papers!

"We breed for money.  Whatever gives us the biggest return is the goal of our kennel.  There is definitely more money in show dogs, so we breed primarily for conformation.  Don't get us wrong!  We also have a few litters of working lines a year.  We don't want to miss out on the smaller working line arena.  We understand that there is money to be made in all areas and we are doing our best to service everyone.  We have been around for a very long time and we will never go away.  As long as there is money to be made, you can count on us to be a phone call or an e-mail away."

Do right and fear no one, you wrote: "I will take care of the work."

Do you mean you will bark at bad guys and bite them or go shopping and cook?.. Whose work are you going to take care of -  your woman`s or you dog`s? Or both?

What a life...

What is your educational background?

Don Corleone,

A bit unexpected change of topic...

Why?

I meant "your dog`s", not "you dog`s", of course. Sorry. But I think "Do right..." hasn`t noticed I "did wrong".

I meant no disrespect.  If I am not mistaken, you are from Russia, no?  I merely noticed that you do very well with the English language.

Don Corleone, thank you.

I thought that maybe it had something to do with my comments on Do right`s post. As for that, Do right, I didn`t want to sound rude. Sorry if I did.

I think I`d better explain. My threshold is a bit lower than usual recently.   I realize I am rather nervous though usually I am a friendly person.  I`m waiting for my little doggie Erko von der Zahnburg to be shipped to Moscow.

He will be all alone in his crate. And it`s a long trip for a pup. But there`s nothing to do - what can`t be cured must be endured...  I can only support him in my thoughts.

I understood that shipping from one country to another is not a piece of cake (not to say a nightmare). Art Shaw is the most responsible breeder and patient person I`ve ever met.

I had no idea that such unique combinations are possible in breeding GSDs in the USA! In our discussion of young prospects in America Armin Winkler mentioned two Erko`s sibling that started training in Schutzhund Village.

I realized that that was exatly that I was looking for!

If anybody is interested there are some videos with Erko`s great... etc. ...fathers:
