No one here knows me, but I know Julie.
In regards to Black on Black Shampoo.
This is coming from my 23 years experience in the Pet Grooming industry as a National Certified Master Groomer. Certified through and with National Dog Groomers Association of America.
I know for a fact that the Black on Black Shampoo is NOT a DYE..It is chemical free.
Black on Black shampoo RESTORES and REPAIRS damaged coats, black coats that are exposed to the elements, especially the sun, will turn an ugly reddish orange, that tells you the coat is damaged. Black on Black shampoo repairs this damage, it does not make the black any blacker, it does not dye the coat, it does not turn the brown, black. In fact, you can shampoo a light colored dog with black on black and it doesnt change the coat color. Black on Black is specially formulated to RESTORE and REPAIR black coats back to their natural sheen. If it were a DYE, it would color the whole dog, not just the black.
I have used Black on Black forever, I am very well educated with the shampoos that are on the market for pets.
Here are just a few examples.
#1 Alaskan Malamute - I groom him....I use black on black when his coat is damaged. His white stays white during and after the bath.
WDA Regional Champion - Female - I used black on black. First place bitch under a German Judge, who knew, nobody, not even the judge.
USA Sieger show - 12 to 18 month males - I groomed him...black on black....he was in the top half of his class. German Judge gave him his SG, he didnt know.
SG1 WDA Regional Champion - Male - groomed in black on black...judge didnt know, now one did. We won.
SG3 USA conformation show - female - groomed in black on black, german judge, he didnt know.
WDA show - puppy class - puppies have horrible coats...black on black, VP2...
ALL OF MY DOGS ARE GROOMED WITH BLACK ON BLACK, I WILL ALWAYS USE IT, ALWAYS HAVE.
In my opinion this is wrong. How can anyone govern what you shampoo your dog with. Thats just silly.
Everyone is making too big of a deal over what shampoo Julie used.
Really, who cares, it didnt change the performance or structure or color for that matter of any of the dogs.
It REPAIRS and RESTORES.
Please keep your PMs to yourself. I know all about the product and what it does.

I have never seen males, Studs, not just intact but actual breeding studs, trained to behave with a bitch in season.
At ANY dog show. At ANY schutzhund trial. I have certainly trialed "breeding males" with bitches in heat before. No big deal. Dogs are trained. And BTW, my dogs are American pit bulls. : )
Julie, I for one don't know you, your kennel, or have ANY problem with you personally. I am a person interested in what is happening to USCA... I want to see the upper managment held to their owb rules. They seem to be playing very loose with them at this time. I'm sorry you are caught up in this, though IF things happened as Phil describes, I certainly can't excuse a dog biting its handler in that situation! A "flare up" among dogs can happen, but USA has to learn to live by their rules.
A good, sound dog CAN (and do) work around bitches in heat all the time without undue aggression and "biting the handler". I wasn't there, so I can't say if it happened or not. However, if it did, and if Phil is willing to put his word to it, I want to back him; again - NOTHING to do with you, but with USA management. I hope you can understand that. I admire your dedication very much.

Tina63 -- I agree 100% with what you say about the Shampoo. With regard to getting an apology from the accusers -- it will most likely never happen. IMO, they are not "classy" enough to do the right thing.

Maggie?????? Haven't we been through this before,,,you ask a question, I answer it, and you avoid the response?

by MaggieMae on 10 June 2010 - 22:06
I don't have a video -- that is why I am asking about the one that you said (on this Thread) that you were going to post ????

Here's an idea that can solve the whole problem. Julie, I will drive to meet you and Eddie. You show me his right hand, unscathed and I will withdraw my complaint against the event and the way it is being handled. Sound fair?

I answered your question. I DON'T HAVE a Video -- that is why I asked about yours. No we have not been through this before.

To post my video, I need to obtain the correct software to edit out the audio portion. I can assure you, no one here will want to hear the comments from the background. I know for a fact, the friends I was sitting with didn't want to hear them either.
