I have several good workers, the first being a Bullinger girl who is linebred on Fedor.  Not only can she work but passes on her working prowess to her offspring.  Unfortunately, she is retired.  She also has Cello and Uran in her background.  Lots of Uran and the downside to Uran is that he is a prominent dwarf carrier and my girl inherited that trait big time.

Her pedigree is:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=387833&p=6-generation-pedigree

Her son who came out of Enko Moorbeck, an incredible worker himself is here:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=497441

Her daughter out of Panzer Mittelwest, a Jaguar son is here:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=556297

Looks like we have some common denominators in all of these pedigrees.

Good thread.

We haven't talked about Vando Moorbeck. He was on the list. I'm not sure what he has in Germany other than those we have discussed here. He did have a few offspring come to the US.

Lauis Moorbeck made a brief appearance in Canada to grab VA1 and disappear. Too bad he didn't stay around.

Burschy was a Vando son. He was used effectively by Mittelwest and the Olympus kennel. Vandal Mittelwest mentioned earlier is a descendent. Ikon was a descendent who was used by the Windy Ridge Kennel in PA. Ando Windy Ridge and sister Angie are still in production.

Indo Geesthugal was mentioned earlier. I suspect most of his offspring went into working homes as we didn't see many in the ring.

Another descendent as Judy mentioned is Enko Moorbeck. I think he's retired now. A dog that was really a gift to this country. Look at his pedigree. Line bred on the V moorbeck litter and has Feli on the mother's side. A genetic gold mine in a proven package. I tried to buy him when he was in Canada. He would have been a great addition. I'm not aware of any offspring from him.

I heared good things about Andruscha van Noort, if someone knows him and can vouch for him maybe we can look at his pedigree too. I think he's in the States too.

There is a LE dog in my area from Andrjuscha van Noort and Dolli Werther Muhle (sp), mother of Ork. I am not the best judge of GSD character, but I have played tug with this dog as well as watched him get serious.

I really do not understand what goes into making a dog that can be so safe and calm at a dinner party and scare the sh** out of you when he gets down to business. But, I'm holding out hope that Randy is going to tell us.laugh

Here's an EXCELLENT stud dog in Florida coming from the "V" Moorbeck blood line who has a SUPER pedigree.
I had a great litter from him!
He's starting to get up there in years and unfortunately like so many of the other great ones that came to the U.S. he was never used like he should have been.
Falco produces head, bone and substance with great temperaments and drives.

I had a nice conversation with Margit van Dorssen some years back and asked her if she could only have one female what blood line would she want her to be from?
She told me the "V" litter Moorbeck blood line....pretty good endorsement.
