You are right -- hair color was mentioned last year -- but some brought it up again on this thread (unbelievable).   Yes, now it is the Judges who are being targeted.    This Forum would make a great SITCOM.

Actually, it's curious.

We have a dog who was witnessed being agressive in the show ring, who as admitted by another poster on this board has progeny that are aggressive and this dog is put VA1.

As I understand show ratings, this means Excellent recommended for breeding.

...

And the problems with the GSD temperment are laid at the 'working-lines' door?

What's wrong with this picture?

I saw where some said they witnessed dog aggression.  Also, I did not see where another Poster has a dog (who is also "dog" aggressive) from the same sire. ???    The entire Thread is curious -- but, it happens every year.  LOL

I believe that Ruger was saying that "tongue-in-cheek" -- ??   Maybe not -- he will need to clarify that statement.

Given his previous posts about his dog I'm not buying a tongue in cheek.

Either way, it just goes to show that breeding specifically down one line or the other is the path to disaster.

It did FHtracker, but Julie from Mittlewest posted a long explanation of why they colored the dog, which you can't do, regardless of why.

In fact, TEMPORARY hair color does NOT have to have any developer and can be used in shampoos.  I have used the same product line when I used to groom show standard poodles.  It is not a dye, but it does indeed artificially darken the coat, hence it is clearly not acceptable for USA or WDA shows.

Ah.

I've just never been a fan of the deep red with a saddle back.  Now a blanket back with very little color on the face beyond black, yes those look striking with the hints of red but really if I wanted a red dog I'd get an Irish Setter.

"...but really if I wanted a red dog I'd get an Irish Setter."

But they are so dumb.

             FHT racker.......STOP RIGHT THERE.............

First of all the post you are referring to was intended to be a joke between me and TESJ10....I was mocking the post that suggested that Titan was aggressive..........DO NOT MAKE MORE OF IT THEN WHAT WAS INTENDED.....

FHT racker....You are absolutely right with regard to some postings of mine stating my male was acting aggressively toward strangers .....you can read the posts in their entirety under.....BITE-WORK, LEAVE IT...and PICS OF RUGER......

MY MALE HAS NO ANIMAL AGGRESSION

MY MALE HAS NO HANDLER OR FAMILY AGGRESSION

ONLY STRANGER AGGRESSION......REPEAT.....STRANGERS....and has been evaluated by a well known  Schutzhund trainer...AKC Obedience Judge/Trainer....and a Behaviorist......all agree..

it is a  HANDLER PROBLEM and the need for obedience training and confidence building in my male.......NOT AN AGRESSION PROBLEM..!!!!!

this is really becoming ridiculous  RUGER1
