Having a rescue ( that suits your current needs) is so different from paying thousands of pounds for one of these puppies. It's not as if they're cheaper than a 'well bred' puppy. They often cost more ! It's the same with the cross breed brigade . People must have more money than sense ! I'll finish with a wee laugh ...I had my grandson at football training the other night and there was a man with some sort of poodle cross puppy. As I walked towards them I couldn't decide what it was crossed with lol so I said to the man "What kind of poo is that ". He drew me a filthy look and replied....."Well its definately not the kind you've just stood on " lol. I looked down at my feet and sure enough the little blighter had dropped one and I'd duly stood on it !!! I never did find out what kind of poo it was lol lol

LoL, LoL. Many do look pretty miserable. I didn't see mine as a pup, he came on rescue @ 6 yrs. His soft, slightly dippy, top line and overal 'depth' is what I referred to. I agree, I didn't pay a lot to adopt him. Seems to me many of the people desperate to get a first dog over the past year or two would have been better off in their pockets, and better off in terms of stress, with an older pup or dog that might at least be housebroken; but its all about 'looks' isn't it, or these days, also 'Influencers' ?
That wasn't a 'wee' laugh, you Scot you, it was a 'poo' laugh !!!
