Dog bath tub - Page 3

The once or twice a year that my dogs get a bath (swimming in clean rivers/lakes in summer), I now take them to a pet food store. The store has a 'walk-up' bathtub, I use their different shampoos, their hot water, and treats they provide. It costs $10 or so, and is great value since any mess is at their place, not mine, lol. Walk in store with dirty dog, walk out with clean dog. Easy peasy.

When I left the grooming shop I was working at, I bought a Booster Bath for home. It has pros and cons, some things I would have personally designed differently, but it gets the job done and absolutely saves my back and that's the most important feature for me.

Some PetSuppliesPlus have DIY dog baths. $10 per use, but much, much cheaper if you buy the wash card for multiple baths (5/$25). Good, except transporting a dirty dog inside a car makes a bigger mess than just DIY in the home bathtub, depending on why the dog is dirty.

I am amazed at how many DIY dog baths there are in Canada as opposed to the US. Not so many here. I dunno, American's would probably figure they need to sue for their own mistakes while using the DIY, so perhaps that is why they are not as prevalent?

Maybe it depends on where one is in Canada or U.S.? Fewer months of back yard dog washing in northern U.S. and Canada versus mid and southern U.S.

Or comparative urban vs rural, or comparative apartments vs houses in the two countries? Or?
