As for Otto, inexperienced dog. No training, only raw dog. None of my dogs are for sale, so no problem.

sure, you can train him but unfortunately you can't change him.
experience here won't play much. it's rather inner fire.

You're mixing 357 mag with a blank pistol. Your female is only a couple months younger, there, than my male in the vid.
Without the whip, big sleeve ( which is her total focus) and imprinting since, probably, before weaning your female would not be of any use for real protection...she's a blank pistol and wants to possess the sleeve only.

My dog, Otto, on the other hand, wants the human, not equipment.
You called him weak, with no inner fire....that is not the assessment the guy he stopped from stealing our tractor for made of him. Otto grabbed his leg and pulled him off the tractor, 300 yards from the house and all we could hear was the guy screaming...not the dog. My dog, Otto, was silent but lethal.

You have the perfect dog for sport, my dog is very affective and earns his keep as a protector of body and property...and I didn't have to 'artificially' bring out his "inner fire", he comes by it genetically along with discrimination and intellegence for the real world.

Nothing I want to 'change' with training.

I love to see the discussion on "Strong" females...Too many people overlook what the female does for this breed...I personally Love good...strong females...Don't get me wrong I love good strong males but a good STRONG female is something special...I love working both males and females...and it's certainly true that females are different but they are special...

she's one of a descendant of Greta z Osobovske skaly and seem's very much resambles her grandma.

with more attention, you'll note she's not begging for sleeve but rather demanding own belonging and very much ready to fight, don't matter what. very obvious, her rage aren't against the piece of rug but against someone, who took her possesion.

i not really like how they handle her, but most likely that way they try to imprint in her the behaviour pattern "human is not a bite object". sport enthusiasts do avoid this type of dogs.

 

Q Man, i agree with you in regards of importance in inheritance through maternal side.
i'm not a breeder and not advanced in genetic science but over years have seen plenty of proof to advocate for strong dam in breeding program.

 

Koots, she did very good impression. she's strong, very fast, stubborn and fearless little girl. from what i saw, i believe even in such young age she can withstand in free run the pressure from 2-3 armed decoys for full 5 minutes.

but as i said above, she's not for everyone. people differ in their preferences.

Valk, you didn't hurt my feelings. You appearantly read posts the same way you read dogs....with much prejudice.

Your female is typical of the dogs being bred for sport...but sport screamers like her don't assimilate well into real life scenarios when a good dog like my Otto does. Fact.
