Many " older folks " who left school before the computer was a standard introduction in college cannot appreciate this. I was recently reading where folks who missed the micro processing technology age are often inimical towards computer technology.
Anyway the device is essentially a robot which contains a a battery, a multi modal motor ,some sensors and a program that has been flashed onto some part of a tiny printed circuit. The robot is capable of doing a range of things. The sensors on board can detect changes in motion and pressure. In this way the robot is able to interact with the animal by sensing changes in motion and pressure and then responding to such changes. Thus when the dog leaves the robot alone the sensors can detect this and after some interval of time the robot will respond. You can also directly control the motion of the robot by using a very simple interface via an app.

Why all the condemnation??

Mith would it help to tell you this is a dog forum not a tech review site. People here get excited "to the bone" about color genetics and croup angles.
