I suggested names to search with on this site, and offered what type of PDB reputation might be gained in a search. Not sure if that is an actual recommendation. Hopefully the OP appreciated the info and it helps them find the information that is useful for making their decision.

And yes vk, pure DDR dogs DO really exist. I have 2 gorgeous pure DDR females. Neither one a watered down version of nothing.
I have found those that still maintain the Pure DDR lines, do so with pride and with the goal of preserving the utility of the lines, and the breed.
I have been rather successful with my selection of DDR lines and GSL in producing healthy, versatile German Shepherds with longevity to boot.
My dogs are actively being used as Police k9's, and sre eagerly excepted, and anticipated for future police recruitment (I donate , free of charge)(my reward is priceless).
As to the question at hand, one of my females father is a Sucherquelle dog. Her temperment and health are wonderful.
Her build is rock solid.

At least that's how I see it.

'Know anything' proof... Like not posting a video after mouthing off about how to train a puppy to be civil?
The dogs from the kennel are proof, the pet owner but doesn't need a course in pedigrees.
Good advice from I've seen, here.
Be sure to post puppy pictures for us when you get your new addition. :-)

-----Ha ha! I didn't forget. You are a mean drunk.
@OP,
Do keep in touch with your decision! Best wishes with finding the perfect pup for your companionship needs. No good reason that I can see for thinking a pet should be anything less in regards to a desired pedigree or quality!

Important things not in order would be temperament, health, looks, size, nerve and oh lots of other things.
As long as the dog comes from good lines with the things my family and I are looking for were fine with that.
I've done a lot of looking, calling and interviewing. This site has been great with mostly nice people giving great advice. Quite frankly most of the breeders never called me back and or didn't answer my emails. When doing business I like to speak to the person so I can get a felling for them. Both Jill and Kim did that.
Again, thank you to the people that responded in a positive way and kept on subject.
