My apologies had a bit of trouble figuring out the photos. Maybe it's the iPad.

No I didn't visit, I'm not even near California.
All I can say is that this pup is nice. He is DM clear by DNA and hips are good for generations back with a 5 yr health guarantee.
He arrived in good shape and seems calm, willing to learn and work.
More than I can say for a lot of breeders.
I trust the officer I work with, he is a certified master trainer that works with many departments. I've sold Doberman puppies whose parents were titled on both ends for quite a bit and paid twice what I paid for him for my,last dog fully trained at 3 yrs 7 months and I feel I lost 3'years of his life.
He was 11 and had a tumor on his heart. He died a sad terrible death.
There are no guarantees in dogs. I looked at a few litters here and overseas and corresponded with owners but no mention of hips or DM.
I have found very little bad press on these guys and believe me I looked, I've been burned before with a dog from the Czech Republic and it took my 5 yrs to get my money back.

Over 30 breeding females? What Smile A toll free number to call? Seems like a commercial cattle farm.

Good luck with your new addition. I hope he turns out to be a nice dog for you!

Franki ..... Trust and respect between you and your pup is two way .. the basis for any relationship. Give the pup a reason to trust and respect you and you learn to trust and respect the pup .. it will be great and the rest from living together to training will be easy. Good reviews are difficult to get on this forum .. Kreative seems to have a good one from you so all's well that ends well.

Thank you very much for the encouragement.
It has been a rough year. I lost a 10 yr old Doberman and my GSD both best friends on a different level.
A big adjustment for my 3 year old to lose both pack mates and myself, from 3 dogs to one..
I like the lines and the dogs behind him.
He is no more expensive than an import which my current Doberman is.
So far so good he is a nice little guy. This is my first herding puppy and I can definitely see the difference from a working breed puppy. So as you said right now it is all about play, some clicker work and learning to trust each other.
