If I teach my dog to defend itself from me, I think, I would have a dog who would bite me in obedience as soon as the dog thought I was unfair. or he would defend himself from me with flight/advoidence behavor. I would teach a helper, or get involved with a helper long before i do anything other than prey stim .

Hexe definitely has it right. A little trolling going on her...
If you REALLY think decoying your own dog is an option, you are more -shit crazy than I thought!

"as a self proclaimed back yard champion i would like to know how many folks here put their own dog in defence to train it to withstand real pressure one might find in a civil encounter.
i am on the fence about it atm,"
Ohhhh, you mean DEFENSE. Thought you were talking about putting a dog behind de fence for training.

dont listen to anyone vk...its a great idea....just make sure you set up your camera in perfect spot...you know to show all those who disagreed how its really done by a real backyard champion...
oh, and why not save time and teach the whole pack at the same time, let them all have a go at "it".... :)

Isn't it soon time that we wise up to vk and his games and stop responding to his foolishness? Aren't there more productive ways to utilitize this forum?
