Freedom of Insult is Insult to Freedom
by vk4gsd on 14 January 2015 - 20:01
can folks talk about the issue of creating deformed mutants for fashion and money instead of their political science and phillosophy.
by joanro on 14 January 2015 - 20:01
Are those deformed dogs ethical...heck no, and neither are English bull dogs or pekes. Vk, you can have the job of confiscating all the pitiful dogs of the world and you get to punish the breeders and owners of them and police the world of them. Because until totalitarianism is complete, they will exist.
by vk4gsd on 14 January 2015 - 21:01
such broad associations to totalitarianism and control of the individual down to their shaving schedule is hysterical, and someone said the article was sensationalised, apochryal and absurd.
it is as simple as disqualifiyng those dogs or at least never putting them forward in the ring, fine the judges for not doing so and it will all dissapear.

VK, while I agree with you that what has been done to those dogs is indeed disgusting, you are forgetting that you are dealing with humans, the most greedy, weak and ignorant of species. Judges are humans and they make money when they work, if they excuse all dogs who look like that, they wont work again. The expression "money talks and BS walks" is very real...as long as people have choices and their wallets are involved, they will choose their wallets hence the reason I said that the only people who should judge are those who are so wealthy, they are beyond corruption or need to work.

vk nobody seems to be disagreeing if they should be bred but rather the title of your post. Even the writer made this statement
I couldn't get anyone within the Neapolitan show community to go on the record re Rev Wrinkle's win as they were anxious about me using their quotes for my own "sensational aims".

susie while I admire you and read everything you post with great interest I will tell you this. You cannot legislate common sense into people they will find a way to try to win the darwin award every time.

when you say it should make something illegal it automatically brings up law. So law then becomes part of the equation and has to be discussed as well. You are the one who used it in your topic so it is part of the topic.
