Dawulf, yep, your ears were ringing.  Easy mistake to make--DenWolf posted a sensible, well-explained response, as I'd expect either of you ladies to do, and it was on a different page so I couldn't double-check who'd made the post.

Off topic, but I´d LOVE to see an update on "little Mohawk" - I´m still his biggest fan...

I second Daine Roberts, very nice lady i've know her through dog training over the last at least 15 years.

She's a good person to start with. There are a few good breeders for shepherd down her you have to just wade through the grabage to find them.

Blitzen's offer is also a great place to start, don't know if i have actually met her in person or not, but we know some of the same people.

After reading about the kennels and looking through their testimonials i realized i know 3 of the dogs very well. And i would not give you $20 for the 3 of them.

Poorly bred, over sized, no drive or motovation, fat (intact), dog aggressive, fear aggressive, cowardly bunch of dogs. They have such low motovation that they would not even breed when offered a female in standing heat! (breeder claimed they were "Too domesticated" by the owner. ) Stay far, far away and keep you money for a better breeder.

I see these dogs a couple of times a month and they have not made much progress in training despit the owners, our trainers and her helpers. Only time they get active is when the two males try to tear each other's faces off. :p

Dragonfry, you forgot the "0's". They are 2 THOUSAND dollars, not $20. That would be $6,000 for 3, not $20. 

Phffffff!!!!!!! lemme go dig around in my couch for some pennies, that's what these dingos are worth.

Not my kinda dog and i'm not a huge shepherd fan to start with. But i can admire a beautiful dog with drive from afar. These have none of that.
