Crazee, if your dog has never been exposed to cat dander, it won't show a positive reaction. I wouldn't run out and get a cat if I were you LOL.

Blitzen: Oh, I am so sorry to hear that you lost your boy to lymphosarcoma after all the two of you had been through. Devasting. Our vet did mention that some dogs as they get older - the allergies can get worse. The dermatologist that we're seeing skin tests again every 3-5 years (I believe) and must be on the vaccine for 12-18 months before maximum results can be seen. I think I'll pass on the cat though. Why add one more thing to our list of allergies? Ha ha!

It was very sad, we loved him very much. It's been 5 years and it's still a horrible memory that will always be with me. Thanks for your kind words. It sounds like your dermatologist is on the same page with the one we used for Dylan. He was a really great vet, considered one of the best in this area. I know your girl will do just fine, it just takes time.
