Not to derail, but how old was Apache when I shipped him to you? I couldn't remember the other day when I was comparing the two. I couldn't remember wanting to strangle him daily yet, but that could just be my bad memory. LOL

It's also interesting that in her 2 litters, it's the sable male who was the most obnoxiously noisey and demanding pup. Aria was a close second in terms of annoying, but Brix is just 100% pure hellion. Makes sense, really; Chico and Capri are similarly bred and there's some linebreeding( to the T litter von der Bosen Nachbarschaft( so naturally some traits are even stronger/more prominent than in the last litter, (which was a litter that would make anyone who says DDR lines can't work eat their words!) Those pups were among the strongest I've seen, and they get stronger and harder as they get older. I'm hearing so many similar updates from owners; I couldn't have asked for more from that breeding. It will be interesting to see how these 3 compare to the last 9 when they're a year or two old.

Thanks, Jen .... and I agree, he looks like Capri in a male body. Sometimes I wonder what he got from Ron, sadly there are not many infos on that guy avaiable. One thing I can say, he has alot of seriousness and aggression in him. Very hard dog. But I think the drives itself come down over Capri.

He departed from you August 4th, so at 8 weeks old. Yeah....not a day I dont want to knock his assyholy head in for various reasons.... but then when he comes up to you, lays his head into your lap and starts cuddling like a sweet kitten with you.... well, everything bad will be forgiven and forgotten :)

Just watched that video of Hessel for the second time & Good Lord! Even to my untrained eyes he is very very impressive.

He has so much, I don't know what to call it really... intent. He doesn't seem, like some others, to have had drives moulded to produce the man work he just seems to have man work drives. His excitement, concentration, speed and eagerness is a joy to behold. He also looks to have fine conformation and shows a lovely strong compact frame.

What's the rest of his work like and what's he like to train & have around?
