I have some beautiful memories with my dog, best travel companion I've ever had! I was never wrong, no matter what we did!

Fantastic stuff! I totally LOVE Mesa Verde....nice photo of the cliff, great angle! Beautiful plantation house, too. Sorry you lost your friend.

VM, Mesa Verde was my introduction to the true meaning of terror. The road getting there is a bit scary! But it was nothing compared to the Sierras, so it was practice, LOL.

Wow, Mesa Verde didn't scare me at all. I thought it was totally serene!

Stunning pictures and makes me want to sell it all and hit the road. I have seen a lot of America but still have a lot to see.
Beautiful pics and sorry to hear about your friend. RIP Nola

We in the east are used to rolling hills, not thousand foot sheer drops. The road up the mesa was pretty steep in some places, and narrow, my introduction to the roads of the west. I actually passed a fatal accident in California, off the edge. Those roads still scare me, but they didn't stop me!
