Keith -- you are engaging in a Pre-9-11 mentality, which completely changed Bush's agenda for the country. Congress was controlled by the Democrats for Bush's second term -- don't forget that. "O" / Congress are spending like drunken sailors.

Bush repeatedly warned Congress about Freddie/Fannie (as did McCain); however, B. Frank, Dodd, others Dems would NOT stop it.
