Blitz, its pretty much the same thing i go to both i take photos at both and its all the same.. well i dont see " groomin tables" at NASS shows like i do AKC lol
i dont like to shampoo my dogs the day of or before a show... they look too poofy... unnatural... to me anyway.... i guess a tight coated dog some like to make them look fluffier. i would rather go "el naturel" with my dogs...
funny thing, i had just purchased my Valentin v El Tous daughter like 3 weeks before the Canadian Sieger show 2 yrs ago and didnt even brush her the day of the show LOL i rubbed some water through her quick as i couldnt find my damn brush... she went SG1 in the Open Class. but she is a very awesome female anyway...i dont think she could ever look ungroomed... stocky from time to time because she is so thick boned and strong/powerful, but moves awesome.
