very nice thread. thank you to all the cops who deal with more ugly nasty shit than most of us will ever have to. we would be nowhere without you all.

Sadly, three more police officers died in the line of duty today responding in Pittsburgh, PA to a domestic dispute call. Several others apparently were injured in the fierce gunbattle that ensued. The slime ball who perpetrated this was wounded in the leg and now is in custody. It is sad that the citizens of PA will have to spend milliions of dollars to put this guy away for life and/or see that he is executed.

I think we all should think of these officers' families today. And we should also continue to thank a police officer when we see him/her for service on all our behalf.
