GSDtravels

And it was, indeed, a beautiful day in Texas! We visited a woman with the most beautiful garden in Tyler, she's been featured in many magazines. She also owns two of YR's Tri-color Cockers but unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring Drake into the garden for pics. I did sneak one of him sitting in the driver's seat of YR's truck, you can see it in front of the house.

Can you spot Drake?

As you can see, there are professional photographers in the yard taking photos.

this morning south of dallas it was 46. hope it doesn't get any colder, frost right now would be hard on all those beautiful flowers.

What a wonderful place to sit and relax.

Domenic, YR wanted me to tell you that she fixed the wonderful Martha Stewart Italian Tomato Eggs for lunch today. She wants to know if you can find your way to Texas?

Thanks, I think I'll keep him! I've been having trouble viewing videos on Youtube so I'm glad the link worked. He's a bit oversized but he's mine and I love him, my traveling companion extrordinaire! When we were broken down and waiting for a tow, he was quite the protector when people offered assistance, I'm very proud of him! YR's egg dish is pretty darn good, my father is Italian so I can appreciate anything with tomatoes and some spice! It was my turn to cook last night, my famous fried chicken breast with cornflake crumbs, yummy! She baked a pecan pie and of course I ate mine with ice cream. I might just leave here 10 lbs. heavier! Today is my last day here, off to Florida tomorrow for a family reunion with cousins. I'm looking forward to seeing them all but disappointed I have to leave here so soon. She's been quite a hostess, has shown me all of the sights, enjoying her dogs (the ones I can get near :o ) and of course, she's got a wonderful sense of humor. We've been laughing the whole time! Wonderful place she has here too, lots of space out in the country, plenty of room for the dogs to excercise, all contained so nobody can escape. She runs a tight ship! I'll tell her you send regards.
