Two Moons, I like the cheese puffs! Those would be easy to handle with bulky gloves on I would think. Thanks!

We use Solid Gold beef/turkey jerky its great! Easy to break up and not sticky great to work with.  Solid gold also makes Green tripe treats our dogs LOVE them but they are crunchy so they need to stop and chew a bit! We will use those for a jackpot to really say GOOD JOB!

muttlover25 can you link me to a site that has those reasonably priced?  We don't have any of that here and I would like to find someone who does.  Most training treats we have here are junk and too unhealthy with the exception of one type of liver treats our tractor supply store has.

Natural Balance cut up, hot dogs, liverwurst, cheese cubes, cut up steak or chicken.   Anything soft and yummy.  Though I'm better at spitting the cheese cubes, everything else I'm a spaz.   My girl is very food motivated, so it doesn't really matter.  Some things are more slippery than others, so have to watch what I use there.    My male likes cheese or hot dogs, and is bonkers for liverwurst.  Recently discovered the ends of deli meat that you can buy at a discounted price from the deli counter.....

I have used hotdogs in the past, but they just get too slimy and stinky in my pockets if I forget to clean them out!   Cooked turkey works great this time of year, or cooked chicken cubed up.  Hard boiled eggs.  Natural balance when I am near a store that carries it.  Pupperoni are easy and quick in a pinch and the dogs love them.  Soft, small cubed items - so reward is quick and chewing not neccessary.  Always change it up to keep it exciting!

It will depend on your dog. For my younger female the same kibble that she eats every day works as she loves to eat (don’t care much about what as long she gets it lol), for my other female only carrots as she would do anything for them lol :). My older female is vegetarian like her mama while my younger female is 100% everything as long it is food like her daddy lol J

i have used chicken jerky, hot dogs, treats called t-bones (small, chewy, look like little imitation steaks), pup-peroni (paws down favorite, and easily broken into small pieces), beggin' strips, and when i run out of treats, they love string cheese.   : )
