This weekend, I saw just how fast my big male is. We went to Palo Duro Canyon, and he saw Road Runners for the first time.  He felt it was his duty to run down every one he saw.

Unfortunately not a damn thing since  I recently shattered my right arm.  I am sidelined for at least another 4 to 6 weeks.

Saturday, took all three to the local dog club for some training and play time (the club has a huge fenced field the dogs can run in).  Came home with 3 worn out dogs that wanted to crash (Ages are 10 yo, 5 yo and 18mos).  Later, trained some with youngest dog at home (he's got his first trial coming up).

Sunday, took youngest dog and picked up a friend's grandson (9yo) and their 9 mo GSD pup then headed back to the local dog club for Socialization and Practice.  I'm mentoring the Grandson as he trains with the 9 mo pup.  They are a good team just typical boys.

That was about it.

I think Pennsylvania's seeing alot of rain this year, serious rain. Or at least the north is. Too bad it doesn't snow like this anymore .. PA has some nice cross-country skiing... My plants are lovin' all this rain though. I couldn't have taken my dogs to the Susq River .. I'd have to be lucky to come back in one piece myself. LOL I think we could do it .. but I dunno. I like the Juniata River .. one day I'll do the whole 90 miles. When the dogs are ready of course. My son's ready. We need more rain !!!
