Keith, The roots of the Shiloh come from the GSD, a Giant Malamute named Samson Woo and a Sarplininac, which is a large European livestock guarding breed. I assume the GSDs Sunsilver is referring to that Hans owned are the foundation GSDS of the Shiloh Shepherd before there were outcrosses to the dogs mentioned above.

I have owned GSDs from Shiloh shepherd kennels. They were, back then, AKC registered GSDs. I have never owned breed of Shiloh shepherd dog.
