All well and good and I'm not pointing any fingers because I wasn't paying attention to whose dogs they were but I have been to shows where it was obvious that more than one exibitor was showing dogs that had been "color enhanced" and it was getting out of hand.

I only call them as I see them, let me ask are you associated with Mittlewest, show with her, train with her.
As far as what I have heard or read, yes I don't believe everything that I hear or read, I am from the show me state and believe in that great saying. But lets see there was a hearing she was suspended for coloring dogs, along with another person. Also was verified by the WDA in a hundegram. so guess if it looks like a dog, walk like a duck then must be a duck, or cheat or what ever else you want to call her.

Think I understand what Robin means, and have to agree with what she said.

You all may be right about the coloring issue, ???? That would not surprise me....it's all part of the primping and prettying up many do for show.....Judging from my male and seeing Mittelwest dogs out of show season I can't see why it would be necessary to color enhance, Mittelwest dogs have beautiful color.
Schutzhundfan, I do not not show or train with Julie. I have a male by Titan who is 6 months old that is all my association is with Mittelwest.
I have probably posted too much for being a noobie.... I will shut up now....my only point is I HATE when people are sore losers......and some here sound pretty sore....just sayin....Ruger1

I wouldn't take what most here are saying as being sore losers, this discussion is about what happened at the USA SS. If a dog attacks another or bites someone it is usually (unless owned by certain breeder or her team) and should be dismissed. You are the one that came on here spewing garbage about the sire of your dog (yes nice dog but have heard also one of the ones colored), and Mittelwest not doing whatever, think it's already been proven they have.
I remember at last years SS in one of the puppy classes. a handler lost control of the puppy and grabbed it by the tail the pup turned and snapped at handler. the judge then proceded dismiss the pup, and stated it was because of that incident. funny same judge as at this SS show. guess that person was not big enough breeder if they were even a breeder, for judge to overlook.

I don't think in this case they are sore losers. Not this time, and when you do have someone who has been set down by another organization for coloring, well, then....
and Ruger, dyeing a dog a different color is most emphatically NOT "all part of the primping and prettying up" process!! NO. DYEING a dog? No way. Totally, competely, utterly against the rules. And Mittelwest dyes dogs.
I agree with you, though, that a lot of their dogs IMO are of good quality. They don't need to color or cheat.
But if in a class of 10 very competitive animals, what makes placements can be very small things, as many of the dogs could be at the head of the line, so to then win because perhaps you colored a dog to make it look more vibrant, or broke it's tail so it doesn't have the kink it genetically has...if that puts you at the front of the line, that's disgusting. And of course false, since the purpose is to select the best BREEDING animals. And a dog who isn't that color, and genetically has a crooked tail is not the best breeding animal.

USA has fallen into bad hands. It's a shame and schutzhund suffers overall in this country. That is my concern.
If everyone who is complaining chips in $10 Phil can move forward.
Now, with that said, do I think with the people involved in USA management that anything constructive will come of it?
Absolutely not.
But if we don't stand up for what's right, we are bad as those doing the things we find distasteful. Its the effort that counts - not the result.
