Why would  I start a thread about someone on a message board who is not a member?  If it comes to pass Janice is trying to work her magic by trying to join any of the message boards known to me of course I would make the same arguments, but I would have to stand in line because I am sure there would be many before me making the same arguments. 

You still aren't getting it.  We aren't talking about any crime other than that which directly affects dogs, dog abuse certainly is germane to a dog forum.  Racial comments,  comments or things or people who people may, or may not be liked, have no bearing on this conversation.  You continue to try to make this about something it's not. 

If you think two people calling Janice out is enough to stop her, you didn't read this thread, and you don't know her history.  Back in 2007 myself and another person called her out on this board, I was basically told to shut up and I am ashamed because I did exactly that, just like a scolded puppy.  You can bet I won't ever make that mistake again when it comes to Janice Bartmess, and I don't care how much it annoys you or anyone else.   Janice Bartmess is a charmer on the internet, she seduces people with her knowledge, this is a known fact.   I think she is a very dangerous person.  

No way to stop what?  Anyone from criminally abusing a dog?  Who said there was?  So does that mean we allow those who have killed and abused in the past to do so again just because we can't stop all dog killers?  Is that your logic?  If that's your argument why bother having any laws about anything at all?  After all, the laws will still continue to be broken, right?

Prager:  Please know that nothing in my above post was meant to change your mind, I realize we have been down this road, and would not try to convince you by repeating what I have said before.  I did ask a question and would like to read your opinion and answer, if you are so inclined.

My post above is only in response to Ace's post.   Ace, it looks like you and I have polar opposite opinions, at least on this issue.  Perhaps we should leave it at that?  If you choose to respond to my above post, I will let that be the last word, between you and I  on this issue.

I had hoped that you would all have ended this by now.

If you continue to post on this subject, you continue to provide Bartmess with what she desires the most.
 
Enough has been said, please allow the Courts to deal with this Oxygen Thief!

Thanks Kim that is what I have been saying all along. When everyone continues to discuss and debate it feeds right into the crazy persons agenda. On the other hand I had no idea who she was or what she was about until a couple of people on our forum called her to the carpet. She then just disappeared. Funny how those things happen....you don't have to change your rules or ban people, you just call them on their gig and they disappear.


I still didn't know the whole story until this whole mess got stirred up......sometimes letting the bad guy stick their neck out educates the rest of us!!!!


She stuck her neck into our forum and boy have I gotten an education:)

She was called on her gig here 4 years ago and for months straight by 10's of people, she did not leave until banned and I am sure she still lurks here and who knows, probably has another name. This is an illness and 2 people confronting her is not going to change her or scare her off. The law is not even enough.

She will not disappear, maybe change her name and Ip address, but 2 people confronting her is not going to stop this woman.

Pirates Lair apparently what Janice loves best is to aquire and then neglect and torture dogs, doing nothing, saying nothing is what enables her, not calling attention to her crimes.

This is what I have posted under Janices posts and also it will be a new posted under announcements. I hope that should make every one happy.

Sorry, but I haven't found one of her excellent posts yet.  Unless, of course I wanted information on how to torture animals, that she truly is an expert in.  You will see her posts will deteriorate into a bunch of rambling psychotic nonsense. 

We all make choices and if that works for your forum and you are content with that, good for you.  However, I am not comfortable knowing she can post there freely and my choice is to not post on your forum.  I realize it is not any great loss to you forum, but that's my decision.

Edited:   I did a google search on "PeleKiebitzmoor" Janice's user name on Hans forum.  Absoultely nothing comes up to warn anyone that this member is Janice Bartmess.  All that google showed are the links back to Hans' site and her posts.  If it wasn't for my and "Sportyguy" posts there would be no clue as to who she is and what she has done.  So. that disclainer really doesn't do very much.  I suppose it is a start.  Not nearly enough in my opinion.  postspp

Hans thank you, I very much appreciate the compromise.  I would think having that statement following her posts should be enough to alert people to look her up, and from there, see what she has done, so that they won't give her any more dogs, at least I hope so. 

I completely understand Jim's point of view, and honestly, having Janice Bartmess as a member is enough for me not to want to join, but that's just because of my own experience, and the really awful taste in my mouth when it comes to anything having to do with Janice Bartmess,  and nothing against you personally, Hans.

You all were concerned here that people are going to do business with her as a result reading her posts on my forum and she will get more dogs yady yady da. ..... If they will do business with her, then they will have to unavoidably learn her real name. Right??!!!
 They can then google her name after they learn it. Besides only a complete idiot would think that her name is PeleKiebitzmoor . I have said this: please google such person's name and do thorough research......
 Also I am not saying that her posts are excellent, I am saying :"There are many posters posting often excellent posts here."
Thus  you should read what I am actually saying/writing !!!!!!!!!
