My conclusion: The SV must use their authority and powerful influence, directly through the SV and the WUSV to introduce the necessary changes in Working Trials Rules & Regulations, to bring about substantial improvements in the conformation of the GSD Working Dogs. Current and recent V graded GSD Working Dogs illustrate what is achievable and desirable.

The SV must continue their efforts to substantially improve the Working ability amongst the Show line GSD, recognising that improved conformation of the GSD Working dogs will offer much more opportunities for their use in the breeding of our Show GSD.

I applaud the recognition of the GSD at the Sieger Shows 2007 and 2008, who were outstanding in their Schutzdienst. Perhaps a similar recognition for outstanding conformation could be made at the BSP.

Nah! The breeder would probably only breed the damn thing!! I'd spay/neuter it and put it in a nice pet home. Maybe with a little old lady, 'cause avoiders are often fear-biters, too. Fear-biters make good watch dogs, because they will bark up a storm and get really crazy, due to weak nerves. They make a lot of noise, so an old lady would have time to call the cops, get out the back door, etc. When cornered, they will bite (so will a hamster!!). So, it could be protection in a pinch...maybe.

My conclusions:

People shouldn't bash others when they themselves breeding dogs less then a year old.
People shouldn't bash others and demand they follow SV rules when they do not themselves.
People should make sure their own dogs pass SV confirmation before demanding others do the same.

If videx were one of my dogs and showed this much avoidence and lack of abality to learn or comprehend, neutering and a pet home would be his future...but a good pet home .
