Peggy: is Proof positive of the negative effect of anonymous morons on this site. Spiteful and lying attacks on "open" known people and their dogs, especially if they are successful and own or have owned Champions. This board has far too many of these morons. They don't even realise or even care that they make this board a "NO GO AREA" for the vast majority of successful GSD breeders, not only in the UK, but also Germany, and the rest of the World. I know this to be true because many of them tell me so. A huge loss for this board and the genuine GSD people who are on here.

The pot calling the Kettle Black MR 'P' apart from stirring it up you just cannot refrain from calling people.

astute:
I see you have just joined, anonymously of course. yes I do criticise, openly and clearly and emphatically, and I do it under my own name and kennel affix. That allows people to respond, challenge and sue me if they feel inclined to do so. On the other hand, you, and others like you are shit scared of laying yourselves open to the consequences of your own comments, cowardly behaviour from morons. Whatever your protestations YOU are a coward and a moron. Now I dare you to disclose your name and affix. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS - YOU ARE SHIT SCARED OF THE CONSEQUENCES. Slither back under your rock.

Few people in GSD here in the UK could draft/write the proposals for "Breed Improvement Suggestions for the UK GSD Breed Council" - They will NOT do it because the practice in the UK is "shoot the messenger" - They target the writer for criticism when they will not or cannot criticise what is written. That is also the reason very few speak up about the problems within our breed and our show scene and our Breed Clouncil. They are afraid of becoming the targets of vitriolic people and also anonymous morons. Safer to keep your mouth shut, comments zero, and heads down. The "status quo" remains, along with all its problems, NO CHANGE.

It will be interesting then to see what happens when my friends comments get written up Breed Magazine. I havent had an acknowledgement of my letter, but a friend who has written has already been asked if her comments can be published and she has given permission. She is not that well known in the breed and has not yet had a litter, and has an interest in another breed as well.
Videx - I do find your comment rather aggressive and this is quite unnecessary.

Beepy reading back i think proposals have to come from a breed club to the BC so not sure it will even get considered, thats why we need the BC rep on board
Videx YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT but that is the reason that some of us remain anonymous the other reason is if your are not one of the big names your opinions are not really considered, but if you are lost in the ether averyone reads the post its a human nature thing wanting to now
Dont want to get into this subject on this thread would like to get back to the subject

DP, IGNORE THEM... there's a bigger picture here!!
I'm happy to put my name (my real name) to anything that tries to improve our present situation... and if we get it right, we will have change!

by Videx on 03 September 2008 - 12:09
beepy: it is necessary for me! I despise anonymous people who make ANY critical comment about an "open" person, their family or their dogs, on this board, no matter how small the criticism. I hope I make myself clear. I have drawn my line.
by beepy on 03 September 2008 - 12:09
It is totally unnecessary to be aggressive on a forum. You can make your comments very openly without resorting to be being nasty which in turn makes you look worse.
