Evolution is cause and effect, has nothing to do with ones beliefs about the universe.
Now if your talking creation then thats one view, there are others.

Life evolves, look at the evolution of the German Shepherd Dog in a few of our Earthly years.
Evolution as a process is easy to see.
If your talking about the origins of the true human species, I agree there is skepticism everywhere among scholars.
I'm sure you see flaws.
Yet I see flaws in the biblical version as well.
