Ad hominem is the lowest and most primitive form of sophistry. It is an argument of people who have no other way to make their emotional point.

An ad hominem argument has this basic form:

Person A makes claim X

This is an illogical leap and make me smile to see idiotic logic like that. If opponent uses it against anybody then I immediately know that they have nothing substantial to say. Empty suit.
