Can't wait to see the videos!
Congradulations to Team Huerta Hof (Carlos and Robin), Cuervo was robbed of his VA in California so I am so happy
for them. Also congrats to Ivan von Huerta Hof and Tatiana von Huerta Hof for their high V ratings in the working class
as well. However it was a same that Moses von Huerta Hof,Luna von Huerta Hof and a beautiful sable male in the
6-9 class that they call Bear, did not get the placings they deserve due to not having a German handler at the end of
their leash that the judge seemed to favor in every class they showed dogs in. In my opinion Carlos Huerta is one of
the best handlers in the U.S. and the dogs he represents are not given a fair placing due to the fact that he is not German!!!
Also, keep an eye out for the VP1 female in the 3-6 mo class Berlin von Grober See, she is beautiful.
Anyways, Congradulation again Team Huerta Hof.
Amen to that if my handler was only German I wonder what my dogs placement would have been instead. LOL what a joke I thought the judges were supposed to be judging dogs not which friend of his was holding which leash
It's a shame, there were a lot of quality dogs that were placed in the back because of who was not holding their
leash. It was very noticeable in all the 12-18mo and above classes.
Congratulations, again, to Carlos and Robin... What a stunning VA male who has all the right stuff! ;) And a sincere 'Thank You' to Carlos for helping us out with handling at the last minute! You have a great people in the Huerta Hof team!!
While the rule cited does, unfortunately, specify "trials," that does NOT preclude filing BOI charges by anyone who witnessed it and has the balls to step up. The provisions are not only for violation of specific rules, but also actions/conduct prejudicial to the interests of USA. The BOI would be hard pressed to find that this incident wasn't prejudicial to USA's interests and recommend the same "remedy" for this incident as for a trial. Of course, if people choose to simply rant, rather than productively address the incident, nothing will be done.
Remember: the filing fee is refunded to the Charging Party, when charges are sustained.
Mystere,
the only problem I see with that is this statement written into the rules
"The officiating judge at an event where an incident occurs is the sole arbiter of any and all decisions made concerning faulty temperament and actions that dictate any of the policy described above."
Everyone knows where Johannes stands, according to witnesses he stopped the show so that the alleged dog could compose himself.
I'm sure there were other USA officials (Tim Burke (National Breed warden), Nathaniel Roque (Director of Judges)) there and witnessed the alleged incident, why didn't they or haven't they stood up themselves. Isn't it there duty as UScA Officials to make sure the interest of the UScA is protected.
Why because they are just as big of Bastards as Johannes, with no balls to do what is right especially if they have to go up against one of the few top breeders left who supports the UScA. Think the President would at least look at the incident since it happened at the Sieger.
JMO- You asked earlier why people don't come forward think the answer is right beneath your nose. Isn't this same breeder Johannes and Tim allegedly protected about a year an a half ago.
Sorry, but that's a cop-out. I have NO idea what any of the judges saw of the incident. I do know this:
1. A competitor at an event a couple years ago engaged in behavior with his dog and an e-collar that engendered lots of "noise" on the internet. The noise-makers, however ALL failed to file BOI charges, while whining that USA wasn't doing anything. The senior judge at the event did not cooperate in efforts to determine what happened. After a meeting of some EB members with the DOJ during the national ch in Georgia, that judge was ordered to provide a statement about what happened. USA's president then filed BOI charges. The competitor was disciplined as a result.
2. A competitor cheated during the Nats in Iowa. The USA members who saw his actions and had photographic evidence told me what happened and showed me the digital photos in the camera. They wanted something done. I asked them to provide me with statements about what they saw, how and why the photos were done, as well as copies of the photos, so *I* could file the charges. Guess what? They "disappeared" and I never saw them the rest of the entire weekend.
3. (But, actually #1) Everybody wants something done to address these issue, but they want "someone else" to do it, without them having to be involved in any manner. Nobody wants to get their hands dirty.
4. In the incident regardng the Iowa nats, when Nathaniel Roque was informed about what had happened, as a judge, he could do nothing about something he had not seen on the field during the competition. But....he did confront the "competitor" about his actions right there in the stadium. Accordingly, I have no reason to believe, think, or even consider than Mr. Roque would turn a blind eye to this incident, if he had actually witnessed it.
Might be a good thing to check Titan's papers also. to find out who truly owns him seems to be a discrepancy there too. AT least from last shows he was shown at and even for this show, different owners listed in practice schedule from in the news after he got his VA1.
Not first AKC papers falsified by this breeder.
